I think you are right. Assuming the NL has the same division winners as last year, the Nats would have to beat the Braves, Mets, or Padres for a wild card. I don’t see that happening and then there is still the Cubs, Diamondbacks and Brewers who will be competitive.
I think their hype caught up to me while writing about Abrams. Their young core is exciting but they are still a few pitchers and a couple years of development away.

Agreed, I wish the Diamondbacks made the playoffs last year to take out the Dodgers again. But any other takes you agree with or disagree with?
